The TP8000EX is a robust special approved ATEX radio, Explosion Proof with maximum output power (2Watt), for the intrinsically safe environment. It is intended for use in inflammable and hazardous areas, where maximum protection against accidental detonation is required (maximum temp. inside the radio is 85 °C /T6).
The ATEX radio carries the classification CE0539 Ex 11 2G EEx ib II C T6, approved to MIL 810 STD and is simultaneously IP67 waterproof.

The ATEX radio is a voice & data radio for professional users worldwide and is made to the frequency bands 136-174 MHz & 350-470 MHz (VHF & UHF). The radios are available in blue or black and 6 or 18 button keypad. The radio comes with all common types of tone signaling and the retrieval of messages in the display. In addition the ATEX radio can send data messages that can be encoded using the keypad.
